Karlie Thornton is the founder of froSkate, Chicago’s first skate collective to bring more BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ and NB folx into skating. She holds passion for building authentic spaces for the BIPOC community, both virtually and IRL through combining her love for community building, art, events, and skateboarding. Karlie also enjoys amplifying underrepresented voices in advertising as a freelance creative/art director and creative strategist.
